Foaled in 2007. Rocky is AMHA/ AMHR reg. He is a palomino tobiano pinto. He is sired by the Reserve World Champion Halter Stallion First Knights Billy Idol.(cremello) Billy Idol is sired by First Knights Breakin All The Rules (Palomino) and out of the mare Sheep Meadow Goldilocks (palomino). Rocky's dam is Flying W Farms Medicine Woman (bay tobiano )who is sired by Flying W Farms Medicine Man (black pinto) and out of the mare Flying W Farms Sacajawea (solid chestnut )
This colt is quite pretty with beautiful movement. He has alot of good qualities that are hard to see with my bad picture taking. I am hoping to get some quality pictures of him this year. He is straight and correct with a perfect bite. He really needs to be shown but right now he is just gonna have to hang out in our pasture and keep trying to impress the girls. He has realized he is the man and loves to strut his stuff for the ladies. He currently measures in at 31 3/4". I expect him to mature around 33.00".This colt is refined and I feel will be a wonderful cross on our mares. 2010 should be an exciting year here at the farm.
Rockstar will not be available to outside mares in 2009.

Here is a picture of Rocky in the round pen. He isnt setup or been conditioned in any way. This is him just being his natural self of course we used our webster to get his attention but we still think he is a good looking boy...
We had Rocky color tested as so many people could not believe he was palomino . He is in fact a palomino,he is LWO negative and silver negative. He can safely be bred to LWO positive mares. So Rockstar is technically a smutty palomino tobiano/sabino pinto. We are so excited to see his first foals on the ground...Of course we have some time until that happens...
